So, it’s about that time - Zachary’s hair is getting shaggy and I have to decide whether to let it grow a little more or give in to what amounts to practically a buzz cut when his dad is in charge. Here he is before and after his last haircut. From the photos, I like the after shot better, but I just love when it’s long and you see the highlights more and the waves and I think I’m proving why it’s time for the cut - Jason hated his hair growing up in large part because it drew attention and because women would say things such as how pretty it was or how ladies would kill for hair like that, etc. I suppose I don’t want to torture Zach with hair envied by ladies… [sigh] This just shows I need a daughter too.

Of course, he is adorable both ways. But here are my thoughts…………..
I think the longer hair makes him look like the toddler he is, but the buzz cut makes him look older. It seems to me he has plenty of time to look “older and more grown up”. Right now, if it makes no difference to him, I’d keep it a little longer. Also, he will freeze in the winter!

Shaggy is in. But he is super handsome with the short “do” too! He is in no danger of resembling a girl, but yes his hair has the best highlights. You do need a girl! And your niece’s hair is so short still it doesn’t help any!
