Thumbs way up, sez Zach.
Back home, opening presents:
My only regret of the night was not having video footage of Isaac as Bryce opened the gift from him. Isaac was sooo excited and adorable about it.
Bryce’s biggest present was a kitchen set from my parents. He still doesn’t really get what it is since it’s still in the box. When we finally assemble it this weekend he is going to be THRILLED! He’s Momma’s little chef.

Guests gone, back to just the four of us once again.
So, the Easter Bunny truly showed up yesterday morning! We found this basket on our doorstep and no one has yet to take credit for it! Thank you, Easter Bunny, whomever you are!! The boys loved everything and we all got a kick out of it!
The cousins, happy to be together! (Easter dinner at their Great-Grandma and Grandpa Wooten’s home)
The boys had 6 Easter bunnies this year – over the course of a week or more, a card and/or gift from… Grandma & Grandpa Texas, Grandma Jackie, Grandma & Grandpa Wood, Mom & Dad, Anonymous, & now Great-Grandma & Grandpa Wooten! Ya think they’re loved?!
I love how close Jason’s extended family is to one another. We got to spend the evening with both sides of Jason’s parents’ family, his dad’s mom joining his mom’s dad’s side of the family’s celebration. (yeah, that sounds too confusing)
Bryce having some fun with his Great-Grandpa Wooten
At long last, Aunt Sherbert is in town. It has been so long since we have seen Jason’s Aunt Sherry that all we can remember is that it was before Zachary was born. It was wonderful to see her, but bittersweet since the occasion was Jason’s Great Aunt Ila’s passing. The funeral service was September 18.
Jason’s grandma was over for dinner Monday night (St. Patrick’s Day) and Zachary had the honor of sitting next to her. We enjoyed a delicious traditional Irish dinner, courtesy of Jason’s mom and green angel food cake, thanks to Kirsten!
