That’s Upper Peninsula of Michigan for all you non-Michiganders. My dad flew in and the boys and I drove up with him to see my Grandpa, way up in the U.P.  The boys did awesome on the 12-hour drive there and back and we all enjoyed such a relaxing and rich time together. This was one vacation I this we all will cherish for a long time to come!

The Station

For my fam – here are some pics from Hillary’s wedding last weekend.  Click on the pic to see the cations and comments and click on the pic again to see it a little bigger if you want. Enjoy!

Nearly a month later, here are some more snapshots of our 4-day UP trip. UP, for the non-Michiganders refers to the Upper Peninsula of MI, where, if you live there long enough, you become a Yooper. For a look at that, see Wayne in the October 2006 Halloween party post!

(And thanks, Mom & Dad for the CD with more photos! The package for Zach arrived yesterday.)

Bryce and Great-Grandpa

Bryce met his great-grandpa for the first time! They seemed to hit it off pretty well.

Today was the big family party for Bryce.

Party Boy

I love that we could have family from both of Jason’s parents’ side as well as from my dad’s side all there together.

Opening Gifts

I also get a kick out of watching Zachary interact with other kids, especially relatives, and find his place in it all.

Constructive Play

The party theme was bugs, so I had a good time with that.

Bug Food

Here’s Uncle Aaron trying to convince Bryce that the gift from him and Aunt Amy is his favorite.

Xylophone

And here is our little family, thankful to the Lord for an incredible year with our sweet boy, Bryce!
