Beach Bums

Sweet Shop

Try Some

Feel the Breeze

No postings this week because the boys and I are on vacation at Maranatha! We’ve been able to come every summer since Zachary was born and we all LOVE it!!! The beach, the pool, the Bible teaching, the mission focus, the Sweet shop ice-cream are all favorites (not necessarily in that order). I’ll have to post some photos after we return!

I’ve been working more at this digital scrapbooking through this class and I’m really enjoying it. It is amazing to me how much is possible to do through Photoshop and how much I still have to learn! Below is my latest creation. Again, nothing spectacular; just learning the tools of the trade!

Lake Michigan

New York was also a good time for Mommy-Second Born bonding that can be hard to come by in large chunks of time. I thoroughly enjoyed traveling with my easy-going sweetie and he did great. While there he started doing half-rolls, from back to side, and just began sitting up tripod-style without help. I am sure he thrived on so much one-on-one attention, but now that we’re back to sharing Momma with Zach, I think he likes that just as well, too. Like I said, he is one easy-going kiddo!

Half Roll

Baby Bjorning Sheepskin Sweetie

I love this picture first of all because it is the beach and second because of how carefree Zachary looks. I like how the photo captures his right foot in midair and a bit of his cute shadow. This was when just he and I went down to the beach in the late afternoon for some sand play under the deck. Good times!
