(Forced Family Fun)

No need to actually force the fun, of course.  We’ve had a great visit.  Here is a glimpse of us all.

So we’re in Texas for Thanksgiving. Nils left today, Jason leaves tomorrow, Charlotte and Lauren on Wednesday, the boys and I not until December 8. I’m still working on getting a photo or two up, but for now I can post our cribbage tournament results. Lauren and I grew up playing cribbage with our Grandma and Grandpa Fantini in the UP and now we play whenever we’re together. Two years ago, when Grandpa Fantini and Aunt Sue were in Texas with us we started a tournament (which Aunt Sue won!) and now it is an annual tradition.

Brian & Kirsten brought a kit over to make balloon sculptures Monday night. The next day he was still excited over it all, tossing the balloons around and talking about “Grandma’s Flower” and “Aunt Kirsten’s Flower,” the ones he is holding here.

(like rice cakes, a nickname I guess I have for him)

Bumper Jumper Bryce

Zachary lived in this bumper jumper.  He would bounce and bounce and jump and jump, to the rhythm of the music even.  Bryce, on the other hand, just puts up with it.  He’ll hang out in it, bounce a couple times, chew on the toys, do it all again, then ask to get out.  Go figure!

Last Saturday Zachary and I went to a Mommy and Me class where we painted this plate, using Zachary’s handprint as the turkey. He loved having his hand painted and we had a good time together. I love having a keepsake to use through the years.
