Beach Bums

Sweet Shop

Try Some

Feel the Breeze

No postings this week because the boys and I are on vacation at Maranatha! We’ve been able to come every summer since Zachary was born and we all LOVE it!!! The beach, the pool, the Bible teaching, the mission focus, the Sweet shop ice-cream are all favorites (not necessarily in that order). I’ll have to post some photos after we return!

I have more photos from our trip and time with family to post, but I’ll digress with this one from Saturday night. Hayden, our friend (along with wife, Heather) from California who now lives in Flint, was ordained this weekend and our mutual fellowship group pastor from GCC, the right reverend Jim Pile, flew out to be on his ordination council and preach at their church yesterday. They squeezed in a dinner with us Saturday night, which was a fun time. So odd for us to all be together in Jason’s parents’ kitchen when we’re used to all being together back in Cali.

Bryce and Great-Grandpa

Bryce met his great-grandpa for the first time! They seemed to hit it off pretty well.

Charlotte and Zachary

We just returned from our “big adventure” of packing what used to be a family of four (my parents, sister, and me) but now has become 8 (Jason didn’t have the vacation time to join us) into a 12-passenger van and driving the 10+ hours each way to the UP to visit my grandpa. It was indeed a trip!

This is my favorite picture so far from our time. Charlotte and Zachary loved chasing each other and seem to have an affinity for one another. Too sweet!
