About a month ago, just before Lauren, Nils & Charlotte moved to Norway and Michele and family moved to New York, we took the kids to Cranbrook. It’s a science museum us girls all visited on school field trips and thought it would be fun to return with the offspring.
And it was! Lots of hands-on exhibits made it pretty cool. My all-time favorite growing up was the planetarium, but it was a little too much for Zachary. Maybe in a couple years…
Experimenting with experiments!

Last night we sat off Woodward and watched some of the Dream Cruise cars go by. Zachary got a real kick out of seeing so many cars that looked like the ones in the Cars movie and like other matchbox cars he has. A toddler waving a flag earned lots of waves, honks, engine revving and whatever you call it when you accelerate really fast for a short distance. We were all loving it, until a cool hotrod revved a little too loud for Z and he was ready to go back home!
