Da Boys

Bryce, Zach, and cousin, Isaac

I don’t know why it is so hard to get Bryce to smile for a picture! He is a happy child, really.

Today was Zachary’s hernia surgery. We are thankful to say all went well. Here is a picture of Zach pre-op in his “fish pajamas and funny hat.” Later this evening he was pretty proud showing Bryce his band-aid (from the IV), hospital anklet, and the letters on his thigh (written by Daddy, as instructed by the staff, so the surgeon would operate on the correct side). Just wait until he’s older and he learns how impressed girls are by scars. ;)

E.T.? E.T.

Yesterday was a great day for playing in the snow! I was surprised that it didn’t feel colder. Apparently the old Norweigen saying is true – No such thing as bad weather; just bad clothing! (loose translation from weak memory)

These first two are actually from last week:

My Snow Angel

Zachary was all about the snow! I don’t even know where he learned to make a snow angel!

Bryce

Bryce was more hesitant and really didn’t like when he’d get stuck in the snow.

Pitching In

But yesterday he got more into it and even helped shovel a bit. :)
