…and Happy B’day to Aunt Sherbert!!!

Our nephew turned one today!

I’m not taking many pictures while everyone’s busy recovering. If we’re not taking a child to a doctor appointment we’re administering medicine or snuggling the weary one and somehow there’s not much time, energy, nor occasion for a photo. (What? No occasion? Doesn’t sound like Lindsay…)

So here’s a fun shot from our time in Texas. The boys loved getting in the box as if it were a boat, or putting their toys in it, or, as depicted here, pretending they were a present we were opening. And it was a gift that kept on giving…

As it turns out, Zachary isn’t the only one in the hospital this week. Not to be outdone, Bryce managed to have enough respiratory distress from a cold to land himself in the same hospital three days later. Poor guy, no fun for any of us. Jason is with him, I’m home with Zach and we long to be together and healthy, but at this point we’d almost just settle for one of the two! No doubt the Lord is in control and we need the refining this brings. Lord willing. Bryce may even be released this evening.
