I have told most, if not all, of you about the new store Carolyn & I opened on etsy.com. You can find us at Wired2Tired.etsy.com. Please stop by and keep us in mind if you need a gift for a toddler or young child or are in the market for one for your own children! Right now we are selling hooded bath (or beach/pool) towels that I have LOVED having for Zach & Bryce. It is so great having a hooded towel and I haven’t found ones this thick, soft, absorbent, or big in any store, plus they are super cute. Anyway, that’s my plug!

Because now that we have an annual pass, any day is a good zoo day! We went on Thursday morning and being a chilly day (high of 58 that day I think!) it worked well to see the indoor exhibits that we skipped on Saturday, such as the fish, butterflies and birds, the amphibians, sea otters and penguins! And then they got to play on the zoo’s playground which may have been their favorite “exhibit” of all. :)

Future rock climber! I love it!

Zachary thought this contraption was THE BEST as you can tell.

The Birthday Boy!!!

Bryce’s day started with a bath – not because he needed one but because he wanted one. I started to tell him no but then thought why not? It is his birthday after all. “What my baby wants, my baby gets,” to quote Aaron.

We spent the late morning and early afternoon at the zoo. Brian, Kirsten & Isaac joined us. The weather was perfect for that pocket of time, a little rainy and cool before and after our visit but sunny and warm for us there!

The family party was this evening and Bryce had a great time.

Gifts included a much coveted pair of crocs…

…a bubble mower (from Aaron & Amy)…

…and a case of Michelob Ultra.

Should I be concerned that this is the only box Brian & Kirsten could find??

The theme was train / zoo animals – 2 the Zoo…

Bryce loved the singing for him and blew out his candles like a pro!
