Lake Michigan

Just six days ago [sigh] this is where you would have found us – enjoying Lake Michigan and the beach at Maranatha.

Stomp

I was building a lovely sand castle when out of nowhere comes Bryce and his stomping foot! ;) What is it about boys and their urge to destroy???

Jordan 5

Here is the condo where we stay at Maranatha. This year it was Jason’s parents, Brian, Kirsten, Isaac & us four sharing it – close quarters but tons of fun – wouldn’t change a thing!

Off to class!

Di’s B’day

We were away last week for a fantastic vacation at Maranatha so I am a little behind on my postings. Some say my facebook addiction is the reason I post less but I am still in denial. While I’m still sorting out the vacation shots, here’s one of Diana, one of my most favoritest friends in the whole wide world, on her birthday (July 16). This was just after her b’day dance atop a chair, shaking the salt & pepper shakers, the wait staff clapping, the whole restaurant watching and no, no alcohol was involved. ;)

Fireworks at the Lake

Friday night was a fun time with friends at Tom & Karen’s. The boys love going on the pontoon boat, even just when it is docked, and sampling some of the yummy dessert. Watching the fireworks over the lake was extra special and staying up that late together was a treat for everyone. And at home earlier that day we made these hats as a family activity because that’s just the kind of dorky mom that I am.
