We all loved that sunny Texas sunshine and playing outside in January! Short sleeves and bare feet! Good stuff!

One of Zachary’s very favorite things about Texas, besides Grandpa himself, is Grandpa’s Lionel train set. Every time Grandpa offered to go see the train, Zach gleefully joined him and carefully maneuvered the train around the track.

I have loads of photos and stories to share but paradoxically no time to sort it out in my head much less on my blog. For today here’s one to commemorate our 2-1/2 weeks of Texan fun! We drove down the day after Christmas, Jason drove back a week later (20 consecutive hours alone – whoa) and the boys and I flew back last week. WONDERFUL time with family – such a joy!
